Introduction to the Club

The object of the Club shall be to promote and encourage all aspects of photography, including digital imaging, and their application for social activities and recreation.

The programme is designed to help beginners and to suit experienced photographers. Visitors are always welcome, and will be charged a nominal sum of £2, which will be refunded if they become members.

Like many other camera clubs, Gloucester Camera Club includes experienced photographers who work at very high levels of skill.  They are always willing to help those who are working their way towards greater mastery. But a club isn’t only about technique – it’s for people to meet and enjoy, irrespective of attainment. We like to think that Gloucester Camera Club is a friendly group, where everybody, whatever they can or cannot do, can feel that they belong. Why not come along and see for yourself?  Details of the club venue are given further down this page.
