- You will be asked to open a yahoo account if you don’t already have one.

- Sign up to yahoo id.

- yahoo will suggest an id and email.

- When you see the congratulations page, uncheck the ‘contact me occasionally’ box, we don’t want junk mail do we.

- You will now be asked for a password.

- Choose your flickr screen name, may be your real name or not, your choice.

- You can skip creating your buddy icon, customised flickr url and personalised profile if you wish. These can be added later.

- Click ‘your home page’ on right hand side in blue.

- Click ‘choose photos and videos’.

- Click upload ‘photos and videos’- Your photo stream will be shown.

- Type Gloucester camera club into the search box, top right.

- Click on ‘join’ for our club.

- Send your message to me, remember to give your real name so I know who you are.

- I will give permission and off you go.

- Once you have permission, click on the image you want to add to a group.

- Top left there is an action button, click the ‘add to groups’, this will allow you to add the image to any group you already belong to.

Tags are quite important if you want your images to be noticed. Please add a tag “Gloucester camera club” to any pictures you put in our group. If for sake of argument you have a monochrome image of Gloucester Cathedral, I would recommend tags of Gloucester, cathedral, “Gloucester cathedral”, b&w, monochrome and join b&w, Gloucester and architectural groups.
