Membership Gloucester Camera Club meets at the Elmscroft Community Centre in Gloucester each Tuesday evening at 7.30 from the beginning of September until the end of May. Prospective members and visitors are always welcome to attend Club meetings and will hopefully be tempted to join. Membership of the Club is by annual subscription of £25 and there is a small charge at the meeting each week. The main benefit of membership is the programme of meetings. In addition, a monthly raffle helps with club funds; the club has a varied library of photographic books available for loan; occasional outings are organised during the summer "off-season". Within the Club a one-to-one mentoring scheme is available whereby some of the more experienced members can offer guidance to less experienced members on request. Advice and assistance is always available from club members who have specialised knowledge in particular aspects of photography. The club has members who are experienced in darkroom work, digital photography, portraits, landscapes, travel, macro and nature photography. |
